Harris Design was established in 2001 based on the belief that connection with the environment is fundamental to a happy, healthy life. Through physical design, we seek to engender meaningful relationships between people, their natural environment, and the larger community. These connections can be fostered in a variety of settings, whether urban, rural, or wild. Much of Harris Design's work is devoted to the improvement of public spaces that can be experienced by any who choose to use and explore them.

Harris Design provides a full range of professional services including master planning, preliminary design, construction documentation, cost estimating, construction administration, regulatory agency processing, public participation facilitation, funding assistance, and post-project evaluation.
