HARRIS DESIGN is looking for entry- to mid- level landscape architects. Basic responsibilities include preparation of preliminary graphics, presentation materials, cost estimates, and construction documents, with the opportunity to do design work. Additional responsibilities may include project management, client contact, construction observation, and subconsultant coordination, with an opportunity to take on business development activities.
Candidates must have strong graphic, design, technical, project management and communication skills, with the ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a private office in the SF Bay Area. Public works experience is desirable, as is a working knowledge of Northern California planting design, construction materials, and site engineering. Candidates must possess professional-caliber graphics capabilities, including hand drawing, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, and/or other 3D modeling programs.
